What exactly is an experience with G&G like?
Every experience with G&G is divided into two perspectives: A Graphite perspective, and a Glitter perspective. Which is our way of saying that we shoot both traditionally and creatively. We do have individual Glitter & Graphite shoots for purchase, but everything we do is created utilizing both elements. Our creative side always comes out to play but we never leave a photoshoot without getting some basic, straight forward shots. We think this is the best way to get our job done.
So if I get both perspectives, what's the point of a Glitter or Graphite shoot on it's own?
Let's say you need some photos for save -the-dates or invitations, but nothing too crazy. Our Graphite shoot is perfect for that, and is included in your wedding package. But- let's say you really want a fun, creative, all-out photoshoot for your bridals! Glitter shoot, all the way. Or, let's say you are a crazy creative like I am, with a mother like mine. You want the cool experimental/styled photoshoot, but your mother thinks it's "weird" and would like something more traditional. Yep. We have you covered. BEECCAAUUUSEEE (Drum roll, please), each photoshoot comes with a complimentary shoot of it's opposite! So, if you purchase a Graphite shoot, the Glitter Shoot is free, and vice versa. Win, win!

What is a Glitter Session?
A glitter shoot is an all-out creativity fest.  It's excessive, fun, and bizarre. In these shoots, we utilize non-traditional and experimental photography methods, props, elaborate scenery, and other artistic elements to produce photographs that are each an individual work of art.  This is great because it's... great. Great for prints for your apartment, Facebook and Tumblr bragging rights, and in general just to hold something PRETTY. Our aim for this experience for you is to make you feel like a freaking rockstar. Depending on the end goal, we typically style your outfit, hair, and make up our selves. Thanks to G&G studios, celebrities aren't the only ones who can have magazine-worthy photoshoots.
What is a Graphtie Shoot?
Our graphite shoots capture the subject’s passions and personalities in a timelessly creative and manner. This is the standard photoshoot that your non-creative mother or over-analytical groom would love. The kind of thing your grandmother could hang on her mantle, ya know what I mean? Straight on- smiling at the camera- classic/traditional photographs in a field with pretty natural light. Great for save the dates, invitations, announcements, etc. In other words: NORMAL. Still creative- just more on the "normal" side of things.

What is a G&G wedding like?
For our wedding clients, we consider the wedding day as a hybrid of G&G. It's mainly shot from a graphite perspective, with some experimenting with long-exposures, film, and whatever else Jesus tells us to do that day. It is mostly graphite though, which is why every wedding package comes with a Glitter Shoot, to ensure you get a well-rounded experience with us. We're not going to force you to be a part of a glitter shoot if you really don't want to be. However, I'd say if you aren't interested in a Glitter Shoot, you may want to choose a photographer who focuses more on the traditional side of things.
